Works in Progress Works with the RED One Camera

By Stephen Pruitt

Lewis and Clark
When my wife, Mary Settle Pruitt, and I began preproduction for our first film, Works in Progress, we thought about using Panasonic’s HVX-200 24fps HD video camera with a 35mm adapter. We had purchased an HVX to shoot a couple of music videos and, while we were very pleased with the [...]

At Christian-Movie.com, our heart is to provide a way for Christians involved in filmmaking to move toward a common Goal together, with collective knowledge, resources and passion. Though we work outside Hollywood as independent filmmakers, our call to be ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20) is too great for [...]

Today's Quote:

Noah was not a shipbuilder nor a veterinarian. He was called of God to do the impossible for man, but to carry out the purpose of God. His willingness to be used as a vessel of God provided him with the power and ability to carry out the will of God. Professionals built the Titanic, Noah built the Ark.

Christian Filmmaker Forced To Make Gay And Lesbian Films

If the above headline were true, would it outrage you for having lost your freedom of speech?

We all remember the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) membership controversy with numerous lawsuits attempting to force BSA to put avowed homosexuals into leadership roles against their Scout Oath, Law and Values. While the state and federal courts have continued to uphold their rights, BSA continues to spend large sums of money to defend themselves in court.

Not only has the country’s largest private youth organization continued to be pulled into battle, but eHarmony was added to the mix. Constant lawsuits forced the dating giant to succumb to pressure and create the site “Compatible Partners” for the gay and lesbian community. Once the foothold was in place, eHarmony found itself in more legal battles until their settlement last week causing them to merge subscribers of their gay and lesbian site with their Jewish, black, Christian, and senior sites. … Continue Reading

HOSFU LC

HOSFU LC is a company dedicated to Promoting Christ Through The Film Industry.

HOSFU is an acronym which stands for:

His Only Son For Us

Our logo is descriptive of our company.

*The royal purple signifies the majesty of Christ

*The pocket watch which makes up the "O" in HOSFU represents the fact that there is limited time before the Christ returns. The hands of the watch are set at 3PM the time in which the Christ gave up His Spirit and changed the positional relationship of the world to God into a savable one.

*The shadow that comes from the pocket watch is a cross as a solemn reminder of the great sacrifice of Christ

*The "U" in HOSFU is catching a tear of God which reminds us that God's heart is grieved for those that do not know Him. However the "U" also catches the tear as a representation of His grace.
